Just to let everyone know, there is a GREAT program for memorizing scripture. I use it for school to memorize my bible verses for Sunday school. And a plus, it's free!!

Bread Day

Several days ago I went over to Jess's house to assist her in the fine art of making bread. Apparently some water does not appreciate that beautiful art.

Jess and I were just tootin' along in the kitchen making a record pace for making bread. And, of course, my little buddy Elijah decided to help us knead the bread. At first, all was going well. But everyone knows that when you cook with a 2-year-old, there has to either be a funny moment or a disastrous moment. Thank goodness it was the funny moment.

Jess and I were kneading happily with our chunks of dough, and Elijah started getting squirmy and wanted to have his own chunk. Jess gave him hers and went over to the sink. At that moment, Elijah plopped his head down on the dough and started to lick it. He picked his head up and there was flour all over his face along with snot on the dough! We finished kneading the bread and stuck it in the oven to rise while we ate lunch and watched carefully to make sure Elijah didn't plop his head into something else.

And then the moment of truth..... We were watching a movie downstairs when Jess decided to go check on the bread while it was cooking. You see, Jess hasn't had too much luck with making bread. Apparently in never rises. We had successfully risen the dough the first two times and we thought she was over her times of non-rising dough. We were wrong. She comes back downstairs and said the the bread didn't rise. I run up the stairs as fast as I can and look at it. It had shrunk.

Jess took me home later and we brought some bread for my parents. They saw it and started laughing. Apparently her water has to much iron and it killed the yeast once it was put into the hot oven. Sometimes, toddler snot in the dough just doesn't matter when your baking bread. Since it didn't rise, they didn't even eat it(;

Giga Pudding

Mommy sent me an email with this Japanese commercial for Giga Pudding. Who knows what it actually is made of? Pudding, but what is Giga? What's really unappetizing it when it jiggles back and forth. Yeah, you really have to see this.

WCY Swim Meet Results

Hey everyone! Two Saturdays ago I had a swim meet in Waldo county, and these are the results from the meet. (These were all the things I swam.)

1. 200 yard medley relay ( 6 lengths ) - 2nd place with a time of 2.46.04
2. 50 yard fly ( 2 lengths ) - 1st place with a time of 37.09
3. 50 yard backstroke ( 2 lengths ) - 1st place with a time of 37.78

Our team ended up winning the meet, and I ended up with two 1st place and 1 second place ribbon. I'm really excited for my next meet, which is this Saturday. I'm not sure what I'm doing for that, but I'll post the results when I get them. The team website is www.midmainedolphins.com. There is a whole list of the swim meets and when they are. And it also has the team photos!

Fun Days

Hello world! Today I am supposed to write a blog entry for school, so I chose to talk about something fun I've been doing for the past couple days and for a day or two more. Grampie is out of town for a few days, so I came to stay with Grammie. It has been soooo much fun! Today we go over to Aunt Pam's to do sewing and eating. Two extreme sports.

Mommy sent some school work with me, so I'm busy trying to get that done so we can go to Aunt Pam's!!! At night, we just sit and watch TV shows that we want to see. Oh, and the ice cream. How could I forget the ice cream! We sit in the living room, eating ice cream and watching TV. What a dream!

Mommy's New 'Do

OK. This is officially what happens when Mommy and I both don't feel good and Preston and Daddy are gone. I become the stylist and Mommy becomes the victim, uh, customer. Yes. Customer. Though she didn't pay anything. And yet Mommy didn't suspect a thing, or hope she didn't when I was laughing hysterically behind the green chair. And she was such a good sport and hasn't taken them out yet! How exciting!
